The ReZenerate wand has proven to be a formidable tool in the spa addressing both the signs of aging as well as treating acne. We have recently incorporated a new serum to infuse with the ReZ wand to take the treatments to a whole new level!
ChicBD infusion oil was created by an Esthetician in Texas. After much creative trial and error Reagan discovered this blend of Moringa Seed Oil, Plant Terpenes and hemp derived CBD that visibly heals the skin. Studies show the main ingredient in the ChicBD Infusion can inhibit the oil production in the sebaceous glands and hair follicles. When we nano this blend into the skin, we are allowing the product to be fully absorbed without creating trauma or damage to the skin. Because the oil is anti inflammatory and contains powerful plant derived anti oxidants it is also highly beneficial in treating the signs of aging. Here is a B/A showing the results of ChicBD infusion. This client has been successfully using a great home care system for acne. The combination of holiday stress and travel had her skin going backwards into it's old breakout routine. ReZ treatments with ChicBD oil got her back on track and visibly healed her skin.
To schedule this treatment you can choose either a ReZenerate Facial for $130 and or a quicker version without any fluff ( no massage or arm treatment but DOES include healing LED light mask) for $105.

Introducing The ReZenerate wand!! Okay, so possibly it's not "magic". But darned close in my opinion so I took some liberty with this title.
After many requests from my clients for info about Micro-needling my research landed me on a more gentle yet very effective approach to a new level of skin improvement. Nano needling is less invasive, painless and a very safe alternative to it's big brother Micro-needling. The Rezenerate wand painlessly creates hundreds of thousands of superficial microscopic permeations on the surface of the skin, leading to an immediate plumpness and improved circulation. It also allows for greater absorption of the nutrients introduced into the skin during treatment. The intended result is typically smoother, firmer and younger looking skin, but any number of results can be achieved depending upon the chosen serum/products used. A series of treatments may be recommended to achieve desired results. This treatment is customized for each client and is totally relaxing. A fabulous choice for someone seeking corrective skin care without any downtime. In the 2 photos below we see immediate improvement in overall hydration and fine lines. Both of these before and afters submitted by a ReZ provider were after just one treatment!
In the below photo we see a big improvement in hyperpigmentation. These results were achieved with a series of treatments.
This client has scarring from previous acne and we can see great improvement in the overall texture and tone of her skin after a series of ReZ treatments.
ReZenerate Treatment Facials are available at Image Insight starting in August 2018. One treatment is $130 and a series of 3 treatments is available for $349. For new skin care clients it is recommended to set up a complimentary consultation to determine the best course of action for your skin as well as home care products that will enhance your results.
UPDATE!! The ReZ facial has been a big hit in the spa! Here are a few of our happy clients' before and afters!
Acne is a formidable opponent. Promises of the perfect product that treats blemishes, blackheads and cysts, lurk around every corner. More often than not are just a waste of money and a huge disappointment. Sometimes it can feel like a losing battle. It's a battle I have had personal experience with and wouldn't wish upon anyone.
Since opening the doors to the Image Insight studio I have had the desire to help clients experiencing acne. Working together as a team my clients and I have had great success eradicating those occasional blemishes with facial treatments and home care products. Sometimes all it takes is consistent quality skin care. A high frequency treatment can take a growing blemish and send it running. However, I have recently had an influx of more challenging cases. These clients sent ME running...right back to the books to study ingredients and treatments. Here are a few things that I have learned and have successfully put into practice. 1. Acne is not one size fits all. It comes in various forms, at various times and various locations on the face and body. All of those variations provide a clue as to the cause or at least to the solutions. This is the reason that the one size fits all acne products are a waste of time and money. A skin care evaluation from a trained professional goes a long way in designing an appropriate treatment plan. 2. "Solutions" being the key word. Rarely will one product, one treatment or one device solve the problem. Acne needs to be attached from many angles. Lifestyle, diet, hormones and of course skin care products as well as makeup selection will all play a role in fighting the battle. 3.Your skin condition really matters. If many over the counter products have stripped the skin and left it vulnerable the first order of business is to repair the skins delicate barrier so that it can do it's job and protect itself. Very oily skin needs oil control but it also needs hydration. Dull lackluster skin needs exfoliation....a layer of dead skin cells will contribute more to clogged pores than oil ever will. Sensitive skin needs to be handled delicately. For all skin types and conditions, products will need to be adjusted as the skin progresses through the healing process. Regular visits to your skin care professional allow him/her to evaluate your progress and make necessary adjustments. If this is a battle that you have been fighting on your own I feel you. Been there, done that. Seeking out a professional to help you claim the win is a great decision. Even with help it won't be easy and its not going to happen over night. But just like anything worth having is worth working for, clear skin is worth fighting for. You can do it!
This is one of my clients 10 days into her acne treatment protocol. The change in her skin
is significant visually and the texture is much improved. We have her on a cleansing gel and a light moisturizer as well as a serum for inflammation. She is also using a Glycolic Cleanser and Retinal Scrub every other day to loosen dead skin cells and lift impactions. For the first week she used it daily and it really made a difference. Salicylic Cleansing pads every other day also work to control oil build up and clean out pores. We will gradually be switching over to products that will address the marks and scars left behind from previous breakouts. It was exciting to hear from this young lady that she felt confident enough to go our without any makeup on the other day. Now tha'ts a WIN! There is always something so special about the first Wedding of the Season and Heather did not disappoint. When we met over coffee to discuss details it was much more like meeting a friend than a client! Heather chose pink and gray as her Spring wedding theme colors. Every beautiful detail was soft and romantic. At her design appointment we created a soft and natural looking smokey eye featuring a sparkle lid with Mac's Gleam and Satin Taupe on the outside corner to provide interest and lift. MAC Fleur Power blush gave her cheeks a rosy glow and Pink Satin Lipstick by Mary Kay finished off her look with the perfect pout. Ainslie from Hairchitexture created Heather's amazing updo. Isn't it gorgeous? Thank you Heather for allowing us to participate in your special day! Wishing you and Matt a lifetime of happiness! Makeup: Trish @ Image Insight

I have been providing the Lash Lift service for my clients for almost a year and with few exceptions, the results are wonderful. In searching for a solution to those exceptions I stumbled across a product line that offers this Lift with a "chemical free" formula. I earmarked the page with plans to review this product while I was vacationing in Florida and had some reading time on my hands.
So here is where it gets interesting. I started my research as soon as the plane landed and soon found out that the mastermind behind this unique product line was actually only miles from where we were staying in West Palm Beach. I reached out to her knowing full well that there was not a chance we could meet up with such short notice and our crazy travel schedule. So glad I was wrong! Meri emailed me back and not only agreed to meet with me to teach me about her system but she also volunteered to do my lashes. WHAT?? So that's a no-brainer! We met up the next day at her adorable and very cozy little studio. In just short of an hour she had my lashes looking lovely, lifted and healthy! Over the next 2 days they actually seemed to look longer and thicker as the products kept working their magic! I was hooked and ordered the system to use on my clients. So what is different about the Keratin Infusion Lash Lift? The traditional Lash Lift uses a modified perm solution to relax the bonds in the lash. If you have had it done the smell is unmistakable and very chemical. A second step stops the chemical process and moisturizes the cuticle. It unfortunately, the moisture is temporary and can leave the lash dry and vulnerable because the cuticle stays open. For some women this isn't an issue, but for others like myself it can lead to frizzy or wonky lashes. Boo. Meri's system consists of a de-bonding solution that relaxes the lash without the use of harsh chemicals. All ingredients are naturally sourced. I honestly feel so much better about how this fits into my business model. The magic happens with the second step. A triple growth factor solution is infused into your lashes (remember, the cuticle is open and receptive at this point) This solution strengthens your lash while a special serum closes and smooths the lash cuticle. Voila- lashes are healthy, lifted and smooth which means there will be no frizzys or wonkys. YES! They is also a 40% increase in the lash diameter! So the lift makes them look longer and the infusion makes them thicker. Results last for approximately 6-8 weeks. Look at my lashes! I am not wearing any mascara in the after pictures. It's all me! :) Now, I do wear mascara on a daily basis because I want to enhance my lashes in every way possible. That's one of the things I love about this. You can wear mascara if you choose to.. Aftercare consists on keeping your lashes dry for 48 hours. Stay away from water and especially steam and try to stay mascara free during that time. Eva's April Wedding was to be at the beautiful Shaker Village. She chose a rustic chic theme with colors in mint green, lavender, rose, pink and whites. This modern fresh mix suited her personality so well and the mint green dresses looked beautiful on every bridesmaid. Ainslie styled her hair loosly to the side with soft curls cascading down her shoulder. The focal point of Eva's makeup was her big gorgeous eyes. Soft natural shades shaped them and truly made them pop. Airbrush makeup was the perfect fit for a day with unwelcome rain, since the formula is so long wearing regardless of humidity levels. Possible one of my very favorite photos is of Eva feeding a doe on the Shaker Village property. This is not a petting zoo, it is a moment of nature and beauty in collaboration. Kudos to Kevin and Anna for capturing this rare Snow White moment. Most brides dream of being a princess on their wedding day. I think that its safe to say that Eva achieved that and more. So lets take a minute to unpack some information about this little but very powerful antioxidant. What? Vitamin C or Ascorbic Acid is most often credited with it antioxidant properties and ability to protect the skin from photo damage and oxidation. Ascorbic acid is also an important factor in the synthesis of collagen, which keeps skin firm and young looking! YES! It enables the skin's repair functions to perform optimally and prevents moisture loss from the skin by increasing the production of necessary barrier lipids. How? Although a balanced diet is very important for overall health, it seems that oral intake of Vitamin C is not the most effective way to get it into your skin cells and take advantage of it's anti aging effects. The most effective way is to apply it topically. So if you are looking to prevent or repair sun damage, even out skin tone, diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, Vitamin C should absolutely be found somewhere in your skin care routine. When looking for Vit C here are some things to consider.
Because of its ability to prevent damage and repair just about everyone can benefit from topical Vitamin C. There is some concern about sensitivity in higher doses, so sensitive skin types should apply cautiously at first gradually working up to daily application if well tolerated. It's healing properties can be helpful for acne treatment and blemish repair. Dry skin types will retain moisture more efficiently. The collagen production benefits make it an obvious solution to those looking to reverse the hand of time. Glow C available at the Image Insight Aesthetics Studio! Peptides are chains of amino acids that communicate directly with cells sending specific messages. In other words, they tell the cells what to do. Our body naturally produces peptides but scientists have learned how to make them synthetically and thus control the signals that our products are sending. Peptides are highly respected for their ability to penetrate the skin, communicate with cells, increase the production of collagen and elastin and stimulate healing. Peptides can easily be incorporated into your skin care routine. Your skin care professional can help you choose which peptides to use and how to add them to your daily routine. Although results will be gradual and cumulative, expect to start seeing changes in as little as 4 treatments. Here are a few of the peptide treatments available in the Image Insight Studio. I am so excited to be adding Viktoria De'Ann Peptide Cosmeceuticals to our treatment line up! . These serums will be incorporated into your facial treatment and available to purchase for at home use. Pepti- Acne Pepti-Pro Col Pepti -Tone Pepti-Repair This is one of Image Insights Clients experiencing some stellar results using a solid skin care program including Peptides. The before and after was only one week from starting Pepti Elastin, Pepti Pro Col and Rejuvinator. Click here to learn more about this product line. All product images from VIKTORIA De'ANN I was digging through old FB messages today and found this article that I had written for a Wedding Planner's blog....5 years ago! Since some things never change it seemed like a great re-post for June. 1. Sparkle and Shine. Your wedding day is absolutely your day to shine but too much sparkle in the wrong places can be a photo disaster. When sunlight or the flash of a camera lands on very shimmery products in can overly enhance the shine or worse yet make the skin look oily. A safe way to add some bling is a soft shimmer on the cheeks or eyelids, balanced with matte shades and strategic highlighting for a beautiful healthy glow. 2. Too Little, Too much. Carefully applied makeup can define your features and enhance your natural beauty both in person and in your photos. Too little makeup can leave you looking washed out. Discuss your typical makeup personality and the details of your wedding with your artist so that she can design a look that is true to you and also fits in with the style of your wedding. For example; a “natural” girl having a morning garden wedding will be just gorgeous in clean, soft natural colors. Take that same girl and give her a dark smoky eye or bright red lips and her guests may wonder who the girl in the white dress is. 3. Raccoon eyes and/or a faded face. You may have sincere plans not to shed a tear at your wedding but your makeup artist knows better. There is nothing worse than a bride with mascara and eyeliner running down her cheeks. Waterproof products are a must and there are some wonderful products readily available on the market today. A good foundation, primers and setting products can make all the difference in a look that will last you the entire day with minimal touching up. 4. Last minute beauty frenzy. The week before your wedding is NOT the time to try something new. I have seen teeth whitening that left burned swollen lips, “ooompaloompa” spray tans, waxed brows with red blisters and breakouts from new moisturizers. Stick to trusted products and professionals in the two week time frame prior to your wedding day. This is also the time to be a stickler about your diet. Drink plenty of water, limit caffeine intake (excess caffeine can make you oily), sleep much as you can and avoid excess alcohol. Easy? No way! But do the best you can. 5. Waiting for the last minute to choose your hair and makeup professionals. Booking early ensures that you get to choose who you want on your beauty “team” and allows time for trials and testing. Your makeup and hair will be showcased in photos for years to come and compared to most other wedding expenses they are actually a small but extremely important investment. These are the people that will be in your space just hours before the ceremony. Not only do they need to be skilled in their craft but dependable, personable and comfortable for you to be with. All types of skin cancer are a result of damage to the DNA of skin cells. Most often that damage is a direct result of exposure to ultraviolet radiation ( the sun and tanning beds). Some types of Skin Cancer are more dangerous than others but they should all be taken seriously. Skin cancer removed early is almost always treatable and therefore the Skin Cancer Foundation recommends taking charge of your own skin health with monthly examinations and at a minimum, yearly visits to your Dermatologist for a head to toe exam. The brochure above is a great resource to have on hand as you keep a close eye on your skin for changes and/or suspicious lesions. Click here to access this online and print out a copy for your closet or bathroom. Remember, out of site out of mind...so post this where you will see it regularly. It could save your life. Most of my clients are already probably tired of hearing my sunscreen sermon...and we are not even into summer yet. There is also a lot of conflicting information available to us on the internet. Much of which bashes sunscreen ingredients and speaks of the need for Vitamin D. In the short time that I have been a practicing Aesthetician I have witnessed first hand the damage that long term, cumulative sun exposure to do to our skin. So until I see conclusive scientific evidence that we don't need sunscreen, I'll have to stay on that bandwagon. But it's not all about slapping on sunscreen in the morning and heading out the door. Here are the Prevention Guidelines posted by the Skin Cancer Foundation. 1. Seek the shade, especially between 10am and 4pm. 2. Do not Burn. 3. Cover up with clothing. Here is your chance to sport a wide brim hat and some cool UV blocking shades! 4. Use a broad spectrum UVA/UVB sunscreen with an SPF or 15 or higher every day. For extended outdoor activity, use a water resistant, broad spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher. MYTH: Daily use of sunscreen causes vitamin D deficiency. TRUTH: there are no studies to support this and vitamin D can be obtained from dietary sources such as salmon, eggs, mild and orange juice. 5. Apply 1 ounce of sunscreen to your entire body 30 minutes before going outside. Reapply every two hours or immediately after swimming or excessive sweating. MYTH: You don't need sunscreen on cloudy days. TRUTH: Up to 40% of the sun's UV rays reach the earth on a completely cloudy day. 6. Keep newborns out of the sun. 7. Examine your skin head to toe every month. 8. See your physician every year for a professional skin exam. MYTH: This will be incorporated into my yearly physical. TRUTH: You will likely need to schedule an appointment with a physician that specializes in skin disorders. A dermatologist or plastic surgeon. Just in case you need some more convincing here are just a few selected facts directly from the Skin cancer Prevention handbook.
We all love the sun. It brings us light, warmth and life. We just need to have a healthy respect for it's powers and a daily practice that allows us to enjoy it without causing irreversible and/or deadly damage to our skin.
