When my order arrived I couldn't wait to try them. The multiple videos circulating You Tube provided much needed instruction and support and armed with that knowledge I went to work on my nails. I should mention here that I am totally nail challenged. A careful polish application lasts approximately 4 seconds- mostly because I can never sit still long enough to let them dry. Once dry I am lucky to get 12 hours in without chipping at least 3 of them. Professional gel nails, the kind that should make it 2 full weeks is lucky to survive 8 days and I find getting it off a nightmare that leaves my nails dry, brittle and peeling. SO, it wouldn't be too hard to improve on my nail history and I jumped in with eager anticipation.
As with all things in my life it needs to be learned the hard way. I had ordered a festive collection that in hindsight was actually for "juniors". My nails are small but not that small and there were only a few that fit me. BUT they were so cute! Should have read the fine print! Remember my obsession with mixed prints? I enjoyed them for a couple of days before they peeled off and went back to you tube searching for solutions to preventing them from lifting at the tips.
An amazing assortment of patterns and colors. The possibilities are endless and for someone like me, possibly addicting.
Price point: At only $15/ sheet that should do at least 1-2 mani-pedi combinations, along with the buy 3 get one free deal these are very affordable. More than most nail polishes but way less than salon prices.
Fairly easy application with NO drying time. Love that aspect!
The Not so Good:
Application issues. Although fairly straightforward it was a little time consuming and getting them on without lifting edges or bubbles was a challenge for me. Remember that I am nail challenged and learn everything the hard way so I will keep trying.
Endurance. The claim is that these nails will last for 2 weeks. At this point my efforts have not brought about this result.
Will I buy them again?
Yes! I think for a fun pedicure and or accent nails these are perfect! I will use them for special occasions and/or when I know that I will be doing makeup and my hands will be in photographs.
Jamberrys can be easily ordered online. Go to www.jamberry.com to find a consultant near you or order from my consultant Taylor, she was wonderful to work with.
This review is my honest opinion. I purchased the products on my own and did not receive any compensation for this blog.
